- Qualifications: All participants must be members, short term youth and “race” memberships are available for $5 and $10. All drivers must be members in good standing with the TRDMA. Drivers in adult classes must be at least 18 years of age by the start of the race. Junior class drivers must be 14-17 years of age. No one under the age of 12 will be allowed to participate in the Junior Races. (TRDMA Bylaws, Appendix II). A musher age 12 or 13 wishing to enter a race must submit a letter requesting an exception to the Board of Directors no later than two weeks prior to the race. Parental permission and a letter of reference from an experienced musher stating the qualifications and mushing experience of the Junior racer must accompany the letter. No one convicted of animal abuse or neglect will be eligible to enter the race. TRDMA may honor censure by any other sled dog racing organization.
- Fees: $5 for members in good standing of TRDMA, $15 non-members
- Race cancellation temperature: Below -39 degrees Fahrenheit at 10:00AM at Pleasant Valley Store.
